Identity Crisis

An identity crisis is a term in an epigenetic and social psychological theory in which an individual loses a sense of personal sameness and historical continuity. The term was coined by the psychologist Erik Erikson. According to Erikson, an identity crisis is a time of intensive analysis and exploration of different ways of looking at oneself.

Edward de Bono is regarded by many to be the leading authority in the world in the field of creative thinking and the direct teaching of thinking as a skill. He is the originator of lateral thinking which treats creativity as the behaviour of information in a self-organising information system, such as the neural networks in the brain.

Perhaps overshadowed at the time by the music that the records carried, the sleeves were undoubtedly part of their success.
